Kentucky Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 chicken cut into frying pieces
- 1 tablespoon powdered sage
- 1 teaspoon powdered dry ginger
- 1 tablespoon crushed rosemary
- 1 pack of tomato soup mix
- 1 tablespoon crushed Oregano
- 1 teaspoon sweet marjoram
- 3/8 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon of dry minced parsley
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon crushed wild thyme
- 2 tablespoon of garlic salt
- 2 tablespoon of powdered chicken soup bouillon
- 2 tablespoon of onion salt
- 1 cup all purpose flour, blended well with secret herbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup plus 1 Tbsp. of milk
Directions:
Put all dry ingredients except flour (everything listed above flour in Ingredients list) in a bowl and mix very well, or use a blender for about 1 minute.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs and milk. Beat until smooth.
Add the dry mixture to the beaten eggs and stir well until mixed thoroughly.
Put the flour in a separate bowl or a sheet pan.
Dip the chicken pieces into the herbs and spices batter mixture then roll in the flour until coated completely.
Place the chicken in a pressure cooker, or in a skillet with oil at 365 degrees, and fry about 20 minutes. Turn them occasionally to cook evenly until done and golden brown.
Drain the pieces on paper towels and serve warm.
